A YOUNG enterprise group used their money-making skills to raise £253 for the Lynn News Special Care Baby Appeal.
The Wisbech Grammar School group formed Calypso producing products, including a range of hats, scarves and gloves, from recycled and scrap paper, jewellery, wood and clothes.

It donated some of its profits to the appeal and also threw a hat day where students made a donation to wear headgear.

Calypso is running for the duration of the school year and competing against other young enterprise businesses.

Its donation adds to the £150,000 appeal for a vital expansion and revamp Lynn's Queen Elizabeth Hospital Neonatal Intensive Care Unit for ill and premature babies.

Why not be the next to plan an event for the Special Care Baby Appeal? Contact co-ordinator Louise Brain on 01553 817320 or louise.brain@lynnnews.co.uk and we'll guarantee you publicity.
