RELAXING walks along the stunning North Norfolk beaches and family days out beside the sea have inspired the eye-catching and quirky designs in Susie Mason's new Gone Crabbing collection.
The mother of two teenagers has created a unique range of clothing and gifts which she is selling through a growing network of outlets across the county.
Her sporty hoodies and t-shirts, carrying her Norfolk-inspired designs, are a walking advertisement for the county and her collection of bone china mugs are ideal souvenirs and presents.
"Norfolk is my home county and my Norfolk roots have inspired my designs," said Mrs Mason, who lives at Brow-of-the=Hill, Leziate, and still enjoys dog walking on the beaches and boating at Wells.
She chose to call the collection Gone Crabbing because of happy times spent doing just that on the quaysides, and feels that it captures the essence of this part of Norfolk with a humorous note.
"I am fully aware of the potential of the tourist industry and it is very easy to promote North Norfolk because it is such a beautiful place," said Mrs Mason who is working on more products to add to the collection.
She already has retail outlets in North and West Norfolk, including her most recent at Cook to Perfection in Lynn High Street, and plans to take her collection to outdoor events this summer including Sandringham Flower Show, Holkham Country Fair and to Blickling Hall. Her website: www.gonecrabbing.co.uk has also just been launched.
