SHOP owners, Alastair and Melanie Done, hope they have come up with the right recipe for their first business venture.
Cook to Perfection is a new cookware and kitchen store at the Saturday Market Place end of Lynn High Street.

"We like to think that this will fill a gap in the market," said Mr Done, an ex-RAF policeman who retired last year after 19 years in the service.

He spent some months working as an HGV driver, but the couple always felt that they would like to run their own business and took the plunge when the shop premises became available.

They have restyled the premises and are selling good quality, professional standard products, including Chausseur cookware, Fairmont hand-painted china, Emma Bridgewater tins, Mauviel copper pans, chef's knives and a newly-launched Italian range of cups, saucers and plates by Guzzini.

There are some good ideas for Father's Day presents, including novelty aprons.

Cook to Perfection is open from Monday to Saturday from 9am to 5pm.
