AN OPEN day which could have benefits for school leavers and local businesses is being held at Norfolk Training Services on the Hardwick Industrial Estate, Lynn, on Wednesday.
The idea is to show young people, parents and employers how Government- funded training schemes can help practical-minded school leavers into good jobs and at the same time help businesses to find suitable workers.

Visitors will have a chance to watch and question young learners in the mechanics workshop and the newly- opened woodwork section and to discuss progress with experienced instructors.

Employers can explore the employment opportunities available and discuss the progress of their employees already in training.

The open day will be held from 4pm to 7.30pm and places can be booked by calling 01553 762599.
