DEEPDALE Farm, at Burnham Deepdale, has won a rural regeneration award.
The business, developed by father-and- son team, Alister and Jason Borthwick, headed the rural enterprise category in the fifth Farm Business Food and Farming Industry Awards which were presented in the House of Commons.
The farm site now features a village shop, fuel station, clothes shop. florist's shop, café and a tourist centre including hostel, camping facilities and an information centre.
The site employs around 65 people and in spite of the poor summer, this season's bookings are already one third up on last year.
The awards reward innovation and entrepreneurship.
"This is a wonderful award to win as it recognises the innovation of our developments at Deepdale and also the team work that goes into running such a thriving site," said Jason Borthwick.
