PRIDE of place in Wests' Renault showroom, Lynn, is held by a trophy and certificate awarded to the dealership for its outstanding after-sales service.
The Wests' team finished third in the national finals of the 2007 Renault Customer Service Challenge, which is a competition open to a network of around 300 dealerships.

The Lynn operation finished second out of 80 in their league and went on to the finals.

Renault's area after-sales manager Ben Hurford visited the Scania Way premises to present the trophy, certificate and a cheque for £2,000 to be shared by the after-sales team.

Wests took over the Renault dealership at Lynn in May 2006 and 2007 was its first full year in business on the West Norfolk site.

General manager Rob Walker said that the customer service challenge is based on mystery shopper-style calls to the garage and to customers who have had their vehicle serviced there.

"There are points to be earned right through the year and everyone did a very good job to be placed so highly," he said.
