HOARDS of visitors flocked to the eighth annual Walpole Steam Rally where around 400 vehicles were on show.
All the money raised during the two-day event will be donated to the East Anglian Air Ambulance and organisers hope the grand total will be more than £2,000.

As well as the usual cars, tractors, motorcycles, steam engines and lorries on display, the rally this year featured a number of stock cars.

Rally secretary Mrs Gwen Davey, who lives in Walsoken, said: "It went really well and we were very pleased with the numbers this year. We definitely hope to exceed last year's fundraising total of £2,000, when the weather was terrible."

The event was held at Rudd's Field, in Police Road, last weekend and visitors were also treated to music from the Lynn Sea Cadets.
