Prom-inent night for local students

MAD modes of transport and stunning dresses were the order of the day at the Year 11 King Edward VII prom.
One group were towed to the Lynn school bash on a speedboat while another student made a tongue-in-cheek arrival on a mobility scooter.

Year head Mrs Theresa Banks said: "We had a wonderful evening.
"All the pupils were an an absolute credit to the school."

Mrs Banks credited her deputy Mr Shaun Ibbitson with much of the planning and organisation of the evening, which included a three-course meal, speeches and awards.
