MORE Marshland residents are making time to attend community action group meetings designed to make their villages safer.
Terrington Safer Neighbourhood Team (SNT), based in Terrington St John, appealed for more people to support the scheme after the number of people attending meetings plummeted after initial interest at its launch last May.

The most recent meeting,
held at Magdalen Village Hall on March 14, attracted around 20 residents and the team is keen to build on its success.

Team member PCSO Katherine Ebbage said: "A few more residents are coming out of their houses rather than just sending their parish councillors along and quite a few have turned out."

The next meeting is to be held at the Jubille Hall in Marshland St James from 7.30pm on Tuesday, May 13 and everyone is welcome to go along to share their views.

Those unable to attend can contact the team on the non-emergency police number 0845 456 4567 or email SNTTerrington@norfolk.pnn.police.uk

The Terrington SNT area covers: Clenchwarton, Terrington St Clement, Terrington St John, Tilney All Saints, Islington, Tilney Fen End, Walpole Cross Keys, Walpole Highway, West Walton, Marshland St James, Tilney St Lawrence, Walpole St Peter, Walpole St Andrew, half of Walsoken, St Germans, Magdalen, Wiggenhall St Peter, St Johns Fen End and Emneth.
