Tilney village fundraising events

Tilney St Lawrence village committee held its monthly meeting in the village hall.
Chairman Geoff Place welcomed Brian and Linda Cobb as new committee members repesenting the parochial church council.

Reports were given by treasurer Carolyn Place and vice-chairman Keith Bodimeade on the recreation area, car park and buildings.

Fundraising events discussed included forthcoming bingo events on Wednesday, May 28 and Wednesday, June 18. Updates on the village fete on Saturday, July 26, were given by Nicci Tansley who is organising the afternoon events, and Toni Miles who is organising the evening entertainment.

The 100 club draw was made. Winners were: £12.50 Peter Huggens, £7.50 Mary Beeden, £5 Phil Cullen. The next meeting is on Wednesday, May 14, in the village hall.
