Lynn: Grand stand plan approved

A PROJECT aimed to boosting visitor numbers to a high street has been given the green light.

Lynn town centre manager Alistair Cox submitted a planning application to put up market stalls and exhibition stands in Norfolk Street and New Conduit Street.

Members of West Norfolk planning committee approved the application during their meeting on Tuesday.

The project is hoped to invigorate business and give opportunities to people to trade in the town centre.

It is hoped that these stands will attract entrepreneurs along with business students from schools and colleges.
