PICTURES of sea cadets from yesteryear have been sent in to the Lynn News.

Ray Bullock has sent in photographs of the Lynn unit of the Sea Cadets.

The pictures were loaned to him by Pam Manning, who is the widow of Chief Petty Officer J Manning.

Mr Bullock of Meadow Way, West Lynn, said: “I joined the unit later when docks manager Mr Thatcher was chief officer and the cap ribbon was SCC. It changed to Sea Cadet Corps in 1947.”

The photograph shown depicts some cadets in action.
