Jermyns staff prepare for day out

THIS picture shows the staff from the former Jermyns department store in Lynn preparing for a grand day out in 1954.

It was brought to the Lynn News after it was found by Liz Wilson, who works at the Lower Farm Nursing Home, on Grimston Road, South Wootton.

She said she came across the photograph when she recently moved house and believes the group was about to embark on an outing to London.
