After the snow has gone

I’m all for everyone having fun in the snow and enjoying no school to make fun with your kids up Bawsey.

But the aftermath is heartbreaking. I walk my Labrador up there daily and every day it has been messier and messier.

There are broken sledges, boxes, plastic sheeting, black bin bags and tarpaulin strewn all over. People have just dumped it where it lay and gone home with no thought.

All I ask is that when people have finished their fun they should just gather their mess and while they walk back to their car put it near the bin.

I’m not a moaner I just think we should look after our nature reserves when we have them. It’s free and lovely to walk around all year long.
