Dog mess is a curse
OH I’m so looking forward to the long days and short nights.
Hunstanton is a lovely place... maybe I’m biased because we live here!
During the winter months with long dark nights it is not the most exciting time to have to go out and take your dog for the daily exercise but if you have a dog it’s essential.
It would be rather nice if we could do the walk without having to worry about taking “unwanted manure” stuck on the soles of your shoes.
It is quite hard to understand why some dog owners, thankfully the minority, can’t be bothered to pick up their dogs faeces as it is wholly irresponsible and extremely dirty.
I suspect that the “non pickers” would be the first ones to protest if they were to find any on their doorstep.
Sometimes we like to think that our fellow town dwellers are very responsible and wouldn’t even dream of leaving their dog’s mess on the pavement, but would they ? It is rather curious that after the holidaymakers have gone home and the nights draw in, there is a remarkable increase of “manure” spread all over the place.
It would be marvellous if we could convert the culprits, local or not, to became civilized and pick up what is lawfully theirs but then pigs may fly.
I hope not or if they do, I pray that they wear pants!
