Lynn Gunners set for summer reunion
LYNN Gunners (ex-Royal Artillery) are now in their fourth year of get-togethers.
We are organising our summer trip, this year hopefully to Wroxham.
Previous years have seen us at the Firepower Museum in Woolwich; the Muckleburgh collection in Weybourne, The Deep in Hull and a summer boat trip on The Broads.
We still meet on the last Saturday of the month at the Royal British Legion Club in Lynn at 12.30pm, and all ex-gunmen are welcomes.
Our group recently raised over 100 for the Help For Heroes campaign by sponsoring me to run in the Grand East Anglian Run.
Our next meeting will be on Saturday, June 27 (Veterans Day).
Before we meet we will be gathering together with other ex-service personnel at the Tower Gardens at 11am for a short remembrance to honour all our service personnel.
Gunners meet at 10.30am at the Royal British Legion Club.
