No Mata Haris

JOHN Martin’s article in your paper is spot on – the position of the twin hatters has always been somewhat dodgy but you in the West are now in a position where your Conservative twin hatter councillors are in an untenable position.

It is like being on both sides in a war and I don’t think any of those mentioned fill the role of Mata Hari very well.

They must indeed resign from one council or the other. I would imagine they will want to resign their posts at District level as they pay much less.

The people of your area can then vote in dedicated anti-incinerator councillors, which is what you need, and then vote the ex-twin hatters off the County Council in 2013 because they were not there when you needed to count on them. The people would do well at that point to vote off the non twin hatter County Councillors as well – one of them is Derrick Murphy, although he may be fleeing the West in the hope he will find somewhere where his actions over the last year are not known.
