Oppose supporters of Lynn marina plans

I WAS alarmed to read in the Lynn News on May 19 that despite public concern the council is pressing ahead with its marina plan at Lynn.

Anyone who feels that their councillors are ignoring their views, should do this:

A) Write to their borough councillor and ask for confirmation of whether he/she supports the marina plan. Ask for confirmation in writing;

b) If the councillor is in favour of a marina, inform him/her that they will not get your vote at the next election;

c) carry out the threat.

It is intolerable that, in the face of so much public concern, our councillors should go blithely on with a plan to which there appears to be serious drawbacks, the destruction of Hardings Pits and the difficulty of navigation in The Wash.
