Tulips fit for a Queen - SEE VIDEO

Waiting for Video...

WHEN the Queen left Sandringham yesterday (Wednesday) after her traditional New Year break, she was presented with flowers at Lynn railway station.

Just before the monarch boarded the 10.56am train to London she accepted some tulips from eight-year-old Anisha Brewis-Pawellek zu Zauditz.

Lynn-based Anisha’s mum, Felicity, said: “As my daughter sadly missed presenting the Queen with flowers on her arrival and departure from Lynn Town Hall on Monday, she wanted to surprise her on her departure for London with goodwill wishes for the start of her eventful Diamond Jubilee year.

“It was a spontaneous last-minute request and sincere appreciation goes to the awaiting Royal protection officers and Lynn police officers for their kindness in allowing and clearing Anisha to be in the protected vicinity to approach the Queen.

“On presentation the Queen replied ‘ooh, they look lovely! thank you very much..’,” Felicity said.
