FIRE crews and structural engineers were called out to Richmond Road, Downham, when a woman crashed into her garage and then into a neighbour's bungalow.
The accident happened at around 3pm on Sunday when an elderly woman hit the back of her own bungalow's garage and then collided with the gable end of the property opposite.

Fire crews from Lynn and Outwell rushed to the scene and specialist structural engineers were later called in to help.

Both bungalows were judged to be unsafe and Norfolk Fire Service's urban search-and-rescue team, based in Wymondham, were called-in to stabilise the buildings.

The woman was treated for shock and minor cuts, but no-one was seriously hurt.
