Denver: Robert (75) joins Nijmegen marches

A 75-YEAR-OLD Denver man is limbering up for a mammoth 100-mile road march.
Robert Fleming, of Nightingale Walk, is taking part in the Nijmegen 100-mile marches in Holland – originally set up in 1908 to improve the strength of Dutch infantry. and which later evolved into an international competition.

It will be the 14th year that Mr Fleming, who is still a civilian instructor with London Wing, Air Training Corps, has taken part in the marches.
