POLICE have confirmed that a body recovered from the river at Heygate Mill, Downham, on Monday afternoon was that of missing 60-year-old Pauline Dugmore.
Air sea rescue and Norfolk Police helicopters joined officers and dog handlers in the search for Mrs Dugmore after she was reported missing earlier in the day.

It is thought that she left her home in Harebell Road, Downham, on Sunday night wearing her nightdress and dressing gown.

An inquest into Mrs Dugmore's death was opened and adjourned by Deputy Greater Norfolk Coroner Mrs Jacqueline Lake on Wednesday.

The inquest heard that Mrs Dugmore was found drowned in the river.
