GOLF players are being invited to step up to the tee and help raise money for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation at a special tournament in Denver.
The tournament is open to teams of two or four players and is being held at Denver Golf Club on Friday, September 26.

The club decided to stage the event following a request from member Peter Allen, of Downham, who has had type one diabetes for nearly 40 years and whose son also has the condition.

Players of all abilities are welcome to take part and those who cannot form a team will be given team-mates on the day.

Prizes will be available to the winning teams and there will also be a nearest the pin and putting competition.

Entry costs £20 for members and £30 for non-members and the day starts with a lunch at 1pm.

For more information and to book a place contact Denver Golf Club on 01366 385716.
