Masons make £619 for NSPCC

A TOTAL of £619.22 was made for the Downham branch of the NSPCC when a fundraising event was held at the town's Masonic Hall.
About 40 guests were entertained at “An Evening with Tim Clayton” by the Lynn businessman, who spoke about his jewellery-making skills as well as his antiques and sculptures and other “objets d’art”.
He also brought along pieces for guests to look at.
A light supper including wine was served. The branch committee thanked Downham Freemasons for their continued support.
