TRIUMPHANT celebration greeted the first presentation of one of a clutch of trophies in memory of train track tragedy teen Shaun Barnes.
Downham High School's H Band won the Shaun Barnes Memorial Trophy for its success on sports day.

Shaun (17), of Wensum Close, Watlington, died alongside his friend Luther (Luey) Storr when they were hit by a train at St Germans.

Shaun's family launched a memorial fund for the popular football fan and bought trophies for Downham High School where he was a former pupil, Watlington Primary School and football clubs he had links to.

Work has also begun to install a memorial bench on Watlington's Millennium Green, one of Shaun's favourite places to meet up with friends.

Shaun's mum Lynne Lasenby said: "It is hard seeing the trophies awarded. You are so proud but emotional."
