TORRENTIAL rain hit the annual Snettfest weekend but the show continued with 14 bands taking to the stage to entertain music fans.
Snettisham's two-day musical extravaganza featured some of the finest talent in West Norfolk and visitors were able to enjoy an array of sounds from glam rock to jazz and soul to punk rock.

Included among those performing were the Red Hot Soul Band, Birkenhead, Glam R Us and Humberside-based band The Brew.

Organisers saw rain hit the event on both Saturday and Sunday, but the sun came out for a grandstand finish as local favourites The Moonies ended the weekend in style.

Eric Langford, of the Snettisham events committee, said: "People really enjoyed themselves, they came equipped with their wellies and coats and there were a lot of happy faces at the end with The Moonies.

"The event ended on a high with a great evening and the lovely backdrop of the sun."
