BRASS band music filled the air in Hunstanton at the weekend when the town's annual Festival of Arts got under way.
The Leiston Brass Band marched through the town centre and onto The Green to launch the fun-filled family event under cloudy skies and a shower of rain on Sunday.

The Foolhardy Circus was also on hand to entertain with circus workshops on The Green, and performances of Love Makes the World Go Round with clowns, jugglers and acrobats at Seagate Road car park throughout the weekend.

The festival, which runs until next Sunday (June 29), still has plenty left in store including an "Oscar's" night concert tonight and Battle of the Bands tomorrow at the Princess Theatre.

Next week's events include a poetry and jazz evening on Tuesday evening and string quartet Oopsie Mamouska on Thursday, both at the Town Hall.

Harp and cello duo Eleanor Turner and Rowena Calvert are also performing music from Mozart to Gershwin at the town hall next Friday.

The hotly-contested drama festival will be held at the theatre from Friday to Sunday.
