NORFOLK'S Crown Prosecution Service successfully applied for an extension of the custody time limit on a Fakenham man facing a murder charge.
Neil Hirrel (40), of Wensum Way in the town, has denied murdering disabled man Anthony Griffiths (60), who died from a stab wound at his ground-floor flat in Hall Close, Fakenham, in March.

Judge Peter Jacobs, sitting at Norwich Crown Court on Thursday, agreed to extend the limit until Monday, October 27, to accommodate Mr Hirrel's trial.
