FLUTE and piano pupils in Fakenham have been making music and money for charity by taking part in a sponsored event.
The pupils of Fakenham music teacher Dawn Wakefield raised £350 when they took part in Practice-a-thon Music, a national fundraising scheme run by children's cancer charity CLIC Sargent.
Each pupil made a commitment to do a target amount of music practice time every day for two weeks.
They asked friends and family to sponsor them for their efforts.
Three quarters of the money raised went to CLIC Sargent and the rest was donated to The Norfolk Hospice, Tapping House, based in Snettisham.
