MINI enthusiasts have presented £1,500 to the East Anglian Air Ambulance after a record-breaking turnout at their annual charity show.
When the Norfolk Mini Owners' Club (NMOC) held the event at Fakenham Racecourse in May last year, more than 300 classic and BMW Mini owners from around the country attended.
The NMOC has raised around £7,000 for the East Anglian Air Ambulance since it began supporting the cause six years ago and in 2005 it donated £1,500 to the Lynn News Helipad Appeal.
Public relations secretary Craig Scott said: "Being a motoring enthusiasts' club, we fully appreciate the vital service provided by the helicopter."
This year's charity show, sponsored by Adrian Flux Insurance, will be held at Fakenham Racecourse on Sunday, May 27. For more information visit www.drive.to/nmoc or call Mr Scott on 01760 724331.
