SOFTBALL is taking off in Fakenham following a successful community tournament earlier this summer.
Between 30 and 40 people have been regularly attending the weekly practices at the town high school with a wide range of ages and abilities represented.

At the June tournament ten teams competed and another event has been organised for Sunday, September 7 – christened Fakenham Festiball.

The weekly two-hour sessions, from 6.30pm to 8.30pm, incorporate basic skills and game play – and everyone can take part. Sessions run up until Wednesday, August 27 which will be the last evening.

Further information on the practice nights and Festiball can be found at www.fakenhamsoftball.co.uk
