Some travelling fans weren't happy with the Linnets' performance at Chippenham
AN eight-hour round trip to Chippenham to watch a half-hearted team effort.

We haven't looked like champions since Tommy T left. Playoff lotto again.

The strange choice to install Keith Webb as manager seems to be the main reason, his ability to sign average players and to play unentertaining football.

James K., London Rd.

Went half the way across the country to watch yet another terrible performance.

We are still just not good enough to win this league, when are people going to realise this.

Leon from Loke Road.

When will our club realise that Mr Webb ain't the man for the job.

Tactically he hasn't got a clue and can't motivate the team. Hope the chairman's happy.

8.56 on tour.

Canary Talk

Can someone explain why we have Canary Talk in the Lynn News? Neither are they the closest or the best supported team in Lynn.

I'm sure you can find some local stuff to replace it, or perhaps you could just leave it blank and it would be of equal interest.

Marcus, Dersingham

The sports editor writes – We recently did a readers' survery and found out that one of the most popular leisure pursuits for West Norfolk people was to either watch City or visit Norwich.

What do you local Canaries supporters think? Do readers agree with Marcus?
