UNCERTAINTY surrounds the long-term future of a village pub which closed its doors a week ago.
The landlord and landlady have left the Feathers Hotel in Dersingham and the pub company which owns it is now looking for someone new to take over.

A spokesman for Staffordshire-based Punch Taverns said: "We are actively trying to recruit a new licensee for the Feathers Hotel, which we see as an integral part of the local community.

"Once we have someone in place, we will work with them to help run a successful and sustainable business."

The pub closed on Friday with a sign announcing it would open again in the next week.

The Lynn News has been unable to contact former licensees Tony and Maxine Martin.
