A LUCKY pair of pupils at King George VI School in Great Bircham finished the school year with a welcome surprise.
Summer Knight (nine) and Shane Bocking (ten) each received a £25 book voucher when John Hunt, president of Hunstanton and District Rotary Club, visited the school last month.

Staff selected the children for the treat because of the good example they set to others and their conduct in and out of school.

Headteacher Mrs Claire Bunton said: "It has been great to see children recognised by the rotary club.
