THE annual Heacham Beach Party, which was due to be held on Sunday, has been cancelled due to complications with staffing the event.
Cllr Roger Drinkwater, of Heacham Parish Council, told the Lynn News the decision had been taken at a meeting on Tuesday and said efforts will now be made to ensure the popular event returns next year.

He added: "We felt it was better to take a difficult decision now rather than running the event and not being able to have sufficient help.

"It is a resource issue and safety is our main consideration."
