HARD-working students at Hunstanton's Smithdon High School have been celebrating in style at the end of a gruelling year of coursework and exams.
The school's Year 11 pupils enjoyed a glamorous prom at Sussex Barns, in Burnham Market, following the completion of their GCSE exams and sixth form inductions.

Mrs Paula Myhill, head of Year 11, said: "All students looked exceptional, with the girls in their beautiful prom gowns of red, gold, blue and many more glitzy colours; and the young men in their different style suits.

"Arrivals this year were fantastic, from a convoy of Vespas to a huge JCB tractor and three Massey Fergusons. The limos were followed closely by a fire engine and there were some very dramatic and exciting entries.

"Most importantly they all had a great time and I am sure the partying carried on long into the night.

"I would like to thank everyone who helped in the organisation of the prom, particularly Jo Robinson and the students at Sussex Barns during the day.

"A massive well done to all of Year 11 and good luck with wherever life takes them."
