YOUNGSTERS at Footprints day care and preschool put their best feet forward to raise funds for charity.
Around 30 youngsters from the preschool, part of Hunstanton Children's Centre, took part in a toddle in aid of children's charity Barnardo's.

It is hoped to have raised at least £250.

The youngsters, aged two to four-and-a-half years, undertook a circular route in the grounds of the youth and community centre, which is next to the purpose-built children's centre in Avenue Road.

They set off at 1.30pm on Wednesday, June 11, and completed the half-mile route in under half an hour.

The event finished with cake and squash.

Children's centre manager Mrs Linda Baynham said the youngsters had done well.

"I was really impressed with how quickly they did it," said Mrs Baynham.

She said not only was the walk raising funds for Barnardo's but it was helping the children make a "positive contribution" to the community, as laid down in the new Government-backed approach to the well-being of children and young people – Every Child Matters.
