THE days of leg warmers, Afro hairstyles and psychedelic prints were recalled at fancy dress gig in aid of Sedgeford Children's Recreation Area Group.
More than £800 was raised at the event, where 100 costumed supporters enjoyed the music of local band Kevin and Andrew.

Fashions from the 1960s to the present day were celebrated at the dance, organised by SCRAG towards £40,000 needed to develop the recreation ground in the village.

Plans include a football kickboard, netball hoop, solar lights and a picnic table.

SCRAG spokesman Mrs Tara Curry thanked Kevin and Andrew Waddison, committee member Rachel Waddison and Premier Bars for their help.

Photographs taken during the evening are now on sale for a small donation.
