A SPLENDID weekend of celebration was held in Snettisham to mark the 100th anniversary of the village Methodist Church.
The congregation was joined by more than 150 people for a party, which included decorated window displays highlighting the activities of the church, exhibitions and keyboard entertainment through a century of music by David Godfrey.

The party was followed by a service from The Rt Rev Graham James, Bishop of Norwich, and was attended by West Norfolk Mayor Cllr Kathy Mellish and her deputy Cllr Michael Langwade.

The Rev Kim Nally, superintendent minister of the Hunstanton circuit, said: "It was a wonderful weekend and a great time of fellowship.

"Everything went really well and it was a fantastic way to celebrate this milestone."
