Astounded if new bar is approved

I AM quite astounded at how desperate for money this council has become if it gives permission for yet another pub in Lynn.
Why not ask the people of Lynn what they would like, that would make a refreshing change.

I don't really think that anyone would say that Lynn is short of bars. We once held the record of the most pubs for the size of town, not something to be proud of surely.

I'd like to see more of them shut down or at least licensing hours reduced.

Regarding 35 jobs (they always play that card) what about the jobs already lost by closing the PO and others in the drink trade could not compete.

Carl English, 2 Kilhams way, North Lynn
