Hunstanton's Victorian houses were built before there were so many motors and in the heyday of the bicycle and many don't have the benefit of off-street parking facilities.
Today motor cars are important to workers and visitors as they cannot depend on public transport.

Cyclists need the facilities a town or area offers, shops, pubs, hotels, B&Bs and other local services.

Although they campaign for lower speed limits, 20mph in town, they generally want to share the highway safely with other road users and do not want cycle friendly routes to put other road users or local residents and businesses out.

The recently-published cycle routes for Hunstanton will make Hunstanton less attractive and convenient for all residents, visitors, local businesses and cyclists!

Please don't spoil Hunstanton with any more yellow lines and restrictions or misguided good intentions.

Suzanne Slade, Westgate, Hunstanton
