I am writing in response to Mrs Elizabeth Highland's recent letter regarding access to First Eastern Counties Buses service no. 41 between Lynn and Hunstanton.
At First we are committed to making the bus the preferred travel option for as many people as possible and we recognise how important our services are to the elderly, disabled and those with pushchairs.

In line with our determination to provide easy access for all, passengers can look forward to service no. 41 being entirely low-floor by the end of 2008, making bus travel an even more attractive proposition.

Our ongoing commitment to listening to customers and acting on their suggestions will ensure that First Eastern Counties continues to provide the highest possible level of service to the people of Norfolk.

Gussy Alamein, marketing and communications manager, First Eastern Counties Buses Limited
