In response to your report in the Lynn News on Tuesday, August 19, Keep traffic away from Lynn's Southgate, say keepers.
John Birchall, of Norfolk County Council dismisses my colleague Ken Hill's imaginative scheme to protect and enhance the Scheduled Ancient Monument and Grade 1- listed building that is our magnificent Southgate.

Surely this is a typical example of why the Boundary Commitee's proposal to abolish our district council and transfer decisions affecting Lynn and West Norfolk to a single unitary authority in Norwich would mean our local interests would be misrepresented.
