We would like to congratulate and thank everyone who contributed to the Fenland Summer Activities for Children organised by Greater Fens Museums Partnership.
We first visited the Roman Invaders session at Tilney St Lawrence and were very impressed. My children, aged five and seven, enjoyed a talk, handled roman artefacts and were shown how to make a shield with an endless supply of art materials. Everyone then descended on to the playing field for drill to fight the Iceni.

After the success of this we decided to attend the events in Lynn Walks. One session was on wildlife and recycling and the other on Victorians. Both days gave two energetic children plenty to do, make and learn.

Everyone was friendly and helpful. Please run these again next year.

Mrs Beverley Clark
