Claire Beal's piece on Friday regarding the wind turbine refusal was a good and informative read and shows just what arrogance the Green energy firm Ecotricity has towards our local communities.
As soon as it gets opposition to one of its projects it's everyone's fault except its own.

Well if it had done its homework then perhaps green energy company Ecotricity wouldn't have so much egg on its face.

The refusal from what I have seen
comes from the concerns of safety.

Both ministry of defence and Air Ambulance have concerns.

My god, the total arrogance of Ecotricity is mind-boggling.

Can you imagine the devastation and carnage of an air disaster over a conjested town.

'HORRENDOUS'

It would be horrendous. If the West Norfolk development control board makes decisions based on our safety we should be eternally grateful.

If it wasn't for strong committees like this we would be at the mercy of greedy and selfish businessmen.

Of course this doesn't help Lynn's Queen Elizabeth Hospital solve its funding issues and, yes, the health chiefs are disappointed and it may well have saved them £20,000 and so perhaps they need to look at other alternatives such as solar etc.

My advice to Ecotricity is simple: do your homework and then your shareholders can appreciate a more efficient and professional company and perhaps the savings made from good administration can be passed as dividends for all to benefit!
