We are made to feel like second-class citizens

AS a family of five (disabled husband, son, a daughter 18, daughter ten and me) we would like to know why we are being treated like second-rate citizens in our own country.
We are in private, rented accommodation and have been for nine years.

The landlord is now evicting us. It's now in the accelerated court proceedings stage.

We went to the council at the beginning of March to register with them, we have been in contact with our local councillor and MP Henry Bellingham who have got us on a high band.

We've been to the council on numerous occasions and they put us on suspension and under investigation because up until 2006 we owned a house.

We had a big case on our hands trying to fight a mortgage company, it was either a case of repossession or sell it for what we could get, so we chose the latter and have no money.

How can this be fair to treat English people through and through like this, yet other people get things handed to them on a plate?
