HUNDREDS of people got revved up for the Lynn News Hunstanton Lifeboat Appeal at the weekend when the first event in the outdoor rally season kicked off in style.
The East Anglia branch of the National Vintage Tractor and Engine Club (NVTEC), based in Denver, held its biggest event of the calendar - the Stradsett Vintage Rally on Saturday and Sunday - in aid of our £125,000 appeal. Organisers hope to have raised around £2,000.
There were around 100 stationary engines on show, and around 100 tractors, along with plenty of classic cars, motorbikes and commercials and demonstrations in the main ring.
Organisers believe around 2,000 people attended the event.
