HUNSTANTON RNLI fundraisers were delighted when glorious sunny weather helped them to raise more than £1,800 for general lifeboat funds.
The station's Lifeboat Guild held its annual flag day in the town's High Street last Saturday, with fundraising stalls and street collections.

The event was also a chance for people to see the RNLI's Atlantic 75 lifeboat, which was stationed outside Woolworths, and meet the volunteer crew.

Just over £1,305 was raised from collections, with £588 being raised from the souvenir stall. "It was a really successful day, which was helped by the weather," said guild treasurer David Jones.
