BEST-selling local author Margaret Dickinson’s much-awaited release, Jenny’s War, is due to be published on Thursday (February 16).
Margaret is an inspiration for her fans and aspiring writers. Her remarkable career began at the age of 25 and, now on the eve of her 70th birthday, she has published an impressive total of 27 successful novels, rendering her an undisputable expert of the historical saga.

Set during the Second World War, Jenny’s War recounts the blessings and misfortunes of a young evacuee named Jenny Mercer, who is driven from her London home to rural Lincolnshire.
Despite a rocky start in the countryside, and her initial determination to return to the capital, Jenny comes to love the fresh Lincolnshire air, and falls for a handsome RAF pilot, whose tragic fate in the battle for Britain is left uncertain.
Margaret has embarked on a month-long book signing tour and will be stopping by various Lincolnshire towns including Kings Lynn.
The book, published by Pan Macmillan, retails in paperback for £6.99.
