Entries sought for Fakenham art exhibition
ENTRIES are now being sought for the Fakenham Contemporary Art 2011 exhibition.
This second biennial exhibition will be held from Thursday, September 8, to Sunday, September 18, in the historic setting of Fakenham’s 14th century parish church.
Open to all Norfolk-based emerging and established artists working in a full range of media, this vibrant and exciting exhibition will celebrate the creativity being practiced in the county.
Once again organised and curated by artists Keith and Debbie Osborn, of Hillside Gallery in Fakenham, together with Fakenham church, the exhibition will present a range of contemporary approaches to art with work in a range media including ceramics, collage, drawing, installation, painting, photography, printmaking, sculpture and textiles.
Selection is by open submission and subject matter is not restricted.

www.fakenhamarts.org.uk.
The closing date for submission of work is Friday, June 17, 2011.
In 2009, the exhibition saw nearly 3,500 visitors during the ten days it was open and the sale of over 30 per cent of the 90 works hung.
This year’s exhibition will be open from 10am to 4pm every day (noon to 4pm on Sundays) with a special late opening on Thursday, September 16, from 6pm to 8pm.
A range of accompanying events will also be taking place.
